We are a family of 5 (45*2, 16, 14, 6) that came to Orlando for Disney and Universal parks following a 3 weeks trip, mainly in the north east US. The place was perfect for us, everything was well organized, clean and maintained. We liked the extremely quite neighborhood. It took us 20+ min to Disney parks and 30+ min to the Universal ones. The only con I could think of is the lack of air condition in the games room, located at the garage. This was no problem in late Sep. but could be an issue during Jul-Aug. All of us definitely recommend this villa for families of max 7.

Our family stayed at Discovery just last week (June 17-23rd) We were very impressed with the home.  It was very clean and larger than we imagined. As a matter of fact, it exceeded our expectations. Each bedroom had their own bathroom with a full shower which was a hit with my teen and pre-teen daughters. Even though we didn't attend Disney World or other attractions, the home was less than ten minutes from most places. The pool was great and the neighborhood was fabulous! There is a Publix (grocery) store nearby. We would recommend this home to anyone thinking about visiting the area. You won't be disappointed!

Our stay at Golfer’s Paradise in the highlands reserve area was a pleasant one. The home is located in a quiet, clean and friendly neighborhood.  The house was clean and spacious. The one thing we wished it had were safety covers for the outlets, as we had a child crawling and exploring everything. The bedrooms were spacious  but the King bedroom needs a new mattress - too lumpy - slept only one night in the king bedroom and moved to the twin bed rooms. The pool was perfect – we had it heated and the kids loved it. We would recommend the house to others.

Privacy and togetherness...all under one roof!  Our party included a 2-1/2 year old, his parents, his grandparents, and his 72 year old great grandmother.  Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom,giving all their private space.  Meals and swimming and games room use were great together activities!  We won't do motel rooms again after this great experience!  Thanks Mickey Homes.com!

Very nice place to stay, all on one floor is nice with no kids. Maybe 5 to 10 minutes to Animal Kingdom and a little longer to the other parks at Disney World. We felt very safe in this gated community. Could stand some new updates on some of the furniture but overall would highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved this house and will definitely rent it again. The house was spotless upon our arrival and had everything we needed for a great stay. The kids loved the games room which was great on rainy days and having your own private pool was fantastic. After a fun day at the theme parks, it was nice to come home to your own pool and relax with a BBQ. The house was equipped with pool toys for the kids and lots of great books for the adults, perfect for sitting around in the sun. Great house for our party of 7. Nicely kept, clean, hard but good beds, plenty of towels. Kitchen well stocked, pool heat well worth the money. Dryer and air hockey table needed repair, but property managers very responsive. Overall we would rent this house again.
Rental agency was phenomenal, easiest and most responsive process we ever encountered, will only use them for any future Florida rentals!

All of my previous visits to Florida were spent in hotels. At first I was skeptical about renting a house from photos provided by Mickey Homes. In the end, renting a house is definitely the way to go. We rented the Lake View home which was spotless and had all of the amenities of home and then some ie. a pool. 3 families totaling 11 people (6 adults, 5 children) were able to eat, rest, play and sleep comfortably. Our booking agent Lucy was able to answer all of our questions. The clubhouse was easily accessible and staff that worked there were very accommodating.

We were on vacation with 6 adults and 6 children ranging from ages 8 to 19 and when they weren't in the pool they were in the media room. With 12 people the laundry room was a life saver. We loved the house! We had 14 people stay and had plenty of room. Kids loved the media room and the pool.  Loved the additional space with the 2 dining tables and 2 living rooms, in addition to the media room. So close to Disney parks and other fun attractions! Nice neighborhood and community amenities! Suggestion though, is to put towel bars or hooks in the bathrooms. We had multiple people sharing the upstairs bath and had no place to hang towels after our shower. I was worried about 3 bedrooms sharing 1 bath, but the divided bath/toilet/sink area worked great and we never had an issue with a crowded bathroom.

Tinkerbell's Little Castle truly was a castle. A very nice place to spend a family vacation. The layout is perfect with a comfortable media room, and pool that was warm for us even with the colder weather. Glad we upgraded for having it heated. Super location for small kids with the playground right across the street. Would highly recommend this for anyone with multiple or very large family.

We had a fantastic holiday in Florida in October.  It was our first time and Alan was very very helpful providing us with lots of information. I think we did very well and ticked off all our boxes. Goofy's Playhouse was everything and more than what we needed. It was homely but also big enough for us to all have a part of the house for some much needed rest after many days at the Disney Parks! We thought that Emerald Island was a great place to stay and was very grateful of Lucy's short cut directions to Disney. We made very good use of the curbside takeaway at the Outback steakhouse that was only minutes away from us! I would definitely recommend Mickey Homes to friends and family in the future. If I had one word to describe this villa, it would be 'Amazing'. Myself and my family (10 people) stayed at The Legends for 3 weeks in July. I have been on many holidays in my 33 years, but I can safely say that Florida, and this villa imparticular made this a holiday of a lifetime.

From the moment we got to the villa we had a huge smile on our face. We had obviously seen many pictures of the place on different sites on the web, but they really do not give it justice. The Legends is not just a holiday villa, it feels like home. Everything and everbody is catered for. Each bedroom is enourmous and lavishly decorated. I of course had the master suite and boy was it amazing. A bed that was so big I could roll a good 4 full rotations before falling off :-)

The pool never seems to miss the sun, from around 8am right through to 6pm, it was being heated by that hot Florida sun.

Did I mention how close this villa was to errrr EVERYTHING. It is literally a 5 minute drive to virtually all disney destinations and only 12 mins to Universal.

To top it all off, the owners of this property are phenominal, as are their management team in Florida. Before we even got there we requested that a stair gate was out in place for our 18 month old. The owners didn't have one at the property at that time, so a week before we got there, one was bought for us. Nothing was too much.

The area itself (Windsor Hills) is definitelty a 5* villa complex, but again, that isn't giving it justice! It's extremely clean, well maintained and the gardeners etc are very friendly.

We were lucky enough to have some really nice neighbours and had drinks at their villa on a couple of occasions. All I can say is, the owners should have modelled their villa off of The Legends. It's in a class of its own!

If there's one thing I could tell you to do right now, that would be to book this villa and get excited! Believe me, I did a lot of searching for the perfect villa, and I think I might just have found it.

We are just about to book again next year - Can't wait!

We had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful. It was exactly as it is on the website. The community was great. The kids loved the pool in the backyard and the big pool at the clubhouse. It was right around the corner from Disney and centrally located to all the shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this house. It was big enough to accommodate 14 of us. The movie room was great. The only suggestion is to bring pool towels. Also, we arranged at the clubhouse a scuba lesson for the kids. The absolutely loved it. They said it was the best part of the vacation. Enjoy (UPDATE - this home now provides 12 pool towels.)

We held our church Ladies Retreat at Tinkerbell's Castle and we had the most wonderful stay. We loved the pool and spent hours in it and relaxing by it. It was so nice to have a large kitchen to fix meals in and room to seat our group. We loved the theater room as well, only disadvantage was that it was hot in there the portable air conditioner in there did not work properly at all times, but there were fans in the house we put in there and it was just fine. Our extended family of 14 rented this home in February and absolutely loved it. The neighborhood is safe and attractive with many close parks with playgrounds for kids. The theme parks are super close, and the home is centrally located for other shopping, restaurants, and golf courses we enjoyed during our stay (it's under an hour from the beach too!)

We appreciated having a pack n' play crib there so we didn't have to bring ours. There are also safety locks and alarms by the pool doors so that little ones can't get in (a huge plus) and the home didn't feel too crowded with so many small families (four).

Overall, I'd give this home a 9 out of 10. The only pain was that the internet router only allowed 8-10 devices to share the network (including computers, phones, iPads), so, there were times when some of us couldn't get on the the Internet. Not a huge deal though, since we were mostly enjoying the outdoors!

We were let down by our original company who pulled our villa 24 hours before we left the UK leaving us with no holiday home. We got in touch with Lucy who worked very hard to find us a replacement. We were in our home within 24 hours of arriving thanks to Lucy's exceptional work. Without Lucy our holiday would have been a disaster.

We were three families of four with 6 adults and six kids ages 2-16 and everybody loved Simba's Sunset. The exterior pool area is very private and the interior layout worked perfectly for us. One family took the upstairs, one took the master and front kids bedroom and we took the front suite and the double room in back for our daughter and her friend. This meant everyone had their own space when they needed it. The pool and spa area are a little smaller than they appear in the photos but still plenty of room for everyone to enjoy and it was comforting to know that the little kids were always close by when enjoying the pool. Lots of sun in the pool area but the lanai was great for relaxing in the shade with a cool drink. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Lucy was great to deal with as well, prompt with emails, courteous in demeanor, and made the transaction very smooth. A special thanks to Alan LaFrance who guided me through fixing a stuck garbage disposal and for fixing the pool lights in record time. Overall this is an excellent property and its located close to everything we needed during our stay. It was very close to all the Disney parks and just a short drive to Seaworld and Outlet shopping. Many thanks for letting us enjoy your lovely home. I have already recommended it to friends and look forward to staying there again on our next Florida vacation.

We just spent two weeks in this home and are very satisfied with our decision to rent this vacation home. The location was ideal for our family and we couldn't believe how quiet the area was. The pool and spa area is surrounded by trees and a fence so you have a sense of privacy. We enjoyed the tv that was located outside next to the pool and were delighted that we could watch the season finale of "The Walking Dead" without having to go inside. Initially, when we first arrived here were some issues with the pool and spa heat not working properly, however, the property management team were very helpful and did their best to rectify the situation as soon as possible. We had two children under the age of two staying with us and we really appreciated the use of the stroller and playpen. We had a beautiful time in Orlando and really enjoyed our time at Simba's Sunset.

We are 8 male golfers who come annually to the Orlando area in early March for 9 days of golf and relaxation. This was the first time we stayed at Simba’s Sunset, but it will not be the last. Of all of the homes we’ve rented over the past 15 or so years, this one far outshined all of the others, and that’s a rave, because some of the others were very nice too. The home is great for golfers – especially if you enjoy cooking your own meals, as we do.

The kitchen was well equipped, with a great lineup of appliances. I wish I had the stove and refrigerator in my kitchen at home, and the accoutrements in the kitchen were more than adequate. We were able to pull both of our vehicles off the street and up near the garage/game room, where we were able to easily unload our clubs for the night – groceries too. The pools, and particularly the heated spa, were well used and appreciated by the group. The gated community was something we have not had before, and the area is ideal for taking a nice walk.

Suffice to say that we enjoyed everything about this home, and we would recommend it to anyone, but it is ideally suited for a group of 8 golfers. We have already blocked out our dates for next year.

We booked this home for a family vacation/anniversary celebration and absolutely loved this property.

Our party consisted of 13 people ranging in ages 13-71. The Disney parks were all within a short drive and there were dozens of restaurants within a couple miles.

The home is very well maintained, well-furnished and most importantly, clean. The kitchen was spacious and equipped with everything we needed.

All of the bedrooms were comfortable, roomy, well-furnished and had more closet space than we needed.

Having an washer and dryer was convenient which allowed us to pack light and just do a mid-week cleaning of our clothing.

The master suite is enormous and exceptionally comfortable.

Our favorite area was the pool and whirlpool where we spend many afternoons and evenings. There is nothing like watching a ball game on an outdoor HDTV while sitting in a whirlpool.

We would have no reservations returning to this home or recommending to friends and family.

It was also a great pleasure working with Jane LaFrance who was a great help assuring all of our needs were met.

My family recently stayed at Simba's Sunset located in Formosa Gardens.  The house is located in a upscale gated community with lots of space between houses.  Located within 8 minutes to Disney World, within minutes to Publix grocery and Target plus oodles of restaurants in the area, it is a perfect spot.  The house is large and had everything a family would want on a holiday. The pool and hot tub are nice sizes to accommodate the whole family. The kitchen was well stocked and the oven is powered by gas which I think is a bonus over an electric range. Without a question Simba's Sunset is a excellent choice for your family for a Disney holiday.

We stayed at Simba's Sunset last weekend and it was everything it was advertised to be. Nice big bedrooms, nice decor and a fully stocked kitchen with any cookware or utensil you could ever need. We had two family's …..and the kids LOVED the game room. They also loved the bunk beds and the fact that they had their own TV. It was so nice to come "home" to a private pool and hot tub after being around throngs of strangers all day in Disney. We would recommend to anyone and will stay here again. Gorgeous!

Our entire experience with Mickey Homes and Simba's Sunset was wonderful. The reservation was simple and we found it a little less expensive than some of the other rental companies. Our group of 12 was able to spread out and get comfy in this spacious home. We even had one room that went unused. We loved coming back to this house after a day at the parks to swim, relax and play video games. There were so many game systems! The kids didn't even play them all! The location is perfect, only minutes from the Disney parks but also close to restaurants and stores. Our experience with Lucy and Mickey Homes was superb. All e-mails leading up to the reservation were responded to immediately. When a smoke alarm battery beeped during our stay, management came out right away and took care of it. And when we accidentally left something behind when we departed, Lucy went to the home right away to retrieve it and mail it to me. We are 100% satisfied. Thanks for a great vacation!

Our stay at the house was an amazing time. The house is kept up so nicely and there was plenty of room for everyone. Thank you again! The only negative that I would like to say would be the trash issue... Having families in one home you do collect some trash, and it just wasn't enough barrels and we had so much problem with raccoons getting in it... Other then that I am sure I will return and just thought is was an ideal situation.

This beautiful home was the perfect place for our vacation. Simba's Sunset had everything your family and friends would need to make your Disney vacation. The home was very clean and very roomy. The kitchen has everything you would need for those home-cooked meals. My 3 teenage boys loved the game room and all the games. The pool and hot-tub was a wonderful way to end a long day. It was a great location to everything we wanted to do. We will be back again.

This was our first trip to Disney World. It was a Great vacation. Thanks to Mickey Homes and staff. Alan LaFrance was wonderful. We rented a 3 bedroom town home which was suppose to have internet but did not. With-in 30 minutes Alan had us in a HUGE up-grade at a BEAUTIFUL CLEAN Home. I have 3 teenage sons that loved the home. We give Simba's Sunset and Mickey Homes an EXCELLENT!! rating. We will be back and will be staying with MICKEY HOMES. Thanks again.

Stayed at this villa for a week in September and found it to be an excellent choice. It was clean, tidy and the air conditioning worked really well (seperate controls upstairs and downstairs). This villa is ideal for teens as it has more playstations and Wii's than I've ever seen in any one house.....two wii's in the games room, a playstation and 3 tvs ! Cooking facilities were excellent and well stocked with crockery and utensils. Pool and hot tub were fantastic and that area got sun from about 9:30 am till evening. The gated entrance made us feel safe and the location is very well situated in that respect. There are some decent restaurants nearby which are very reasonably priced. All in all we had a fantastic time with this villa as our base and I would highly recommend it. All dealings I had with Lucy were dealt with very promptly and efficiently. The only negative we had on our trip was our car hire with Dollar which was hugely in excess of the price we had booked it online for. The online price did not include the $400 approx weekly insurance costs.....lesson learned there.

OMG WHERE DO I BEGIN!! We have rented condos on vacation before some were as nice as the pictures some were not. Relaxing Retreat was as nice and more. The kids had a great time in the pool and game room. We all enjoyed having so much room and the comfort of home. It is so much nicer than a hotel where after a few days everyone is ready to go home. We have told so many of our family and friends about this experience already. The kitchen was so well stocked my own kitchen didn't have some of the things we had there. We didn't cook a lot of meals mostly breakfast and a few meals but there are so many nice places to eat in the Orlando area that we ate dinner out a lot. All and all it was a great place everyone was so very nice and we can't thank Dee enough she handled all our very minor problems in just minutes. From booking with Jane LaFrance on down your all just wonderful and it was a pleasure working with you. We had the best vacation ever. Like the song says WE HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES....Thank you all so very much we will do this again for sure.....

My family and I had a great time. The house was super clean when we checked in.  Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking except the food. Pool was a big hit with the kids and there was more than enough space for everyone. I would definitely stay here again.
